Terms of Service

Effective October 8, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Eden Blue Ventures LLC, which runs thott.bot. By creating an account or subscribing, you accept them.

Who we are

thott.bot is the public name of Eden Blue Ventures LLC, a Wyoming company at 1309 Coffeen Avenue, STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. Contact us at support@thott.bot.

The service

thott.bot lets the AI you use (such as ChatGPT or Claude) look up information about World of Warcraft. You need your own AI; how it works, what it costs and what it says are its provider's responsibility, not ours.

Game information can be incomplete, wrong or out of date. We don't guarantee any particular content, accuracy, availability, or when anything is added or updated.

Your account

  • You sign in with your email address or an account from another service, such as Discord or Google. You're responsible for what happens under your thott.bot account.
  • An account is for one person. Don't share it or your access to it.
  • You must be at least 13, and old enough where you live to accept these terms, or have a parent or guardian accept them for you.

Free and paid use

  • Free: every account gets a monthly allowance of lookups, which resets on the first of each month (UTC).
  • Paid: a subscription removes the monthly allowance for normal personal use. Fair-use limits per minute and per day still apply, to protect the service from abuse.
  • We may change the free allowance and the fair-use limits.

Prices and billing

  • Payment is handled by Stripe's Link, the merchant of record for your purchase, under Link's terms. Link adds any sales tax at checkout, and the charge appears on your statement as LINK.COM* THOTT.BOT.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
  • If you start on an introductory price, checkout shows what you pay now, when that ends, and the price your subscription renews at.

Canceling and refunds

  • Cancel any time from Manage billing on your account page, or at link.com. Canceling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • All payments are final. We don't refund partial periods, unused time, unused lookups, or a renewal you didn't cancel in time, except where the law requires it or as described here.
  • Refunds the law requires, such as EU, EEA and UK customers' right to withdraw within 14 days, and refunds under Link's refund policy, such as for a charge you didn't authorize, are requested from and handled by Link.
  • If we end thott.bot, we'll tell you at least 30 days before and refund the unused part of any period you've paid for.
  • If we close your account for breaking these terms, we don't refund what you've paid, except where the law requires it.
  • While a charge is disputed with your bank, we may suspend the account.

Fair use

thott.bot is for your personal use through your own AI. You may share individual answers. You may not:

  • scrape, crawl, download in bulk, or otherwise systematically extract thott.bot's data;
  • resell or redistribute thott.bot or its data, or use them to build or train a competing product or dataset;
  • share your account, or connect it to software used by other people;
  • get around the allowance, the fair-use limits or any security measure;
  • disrupt the service, or use it to break the law.

Suspending and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, without notice where the risk requires it. You can close your account any time from your account page; cancel your subscription first.

Changes

We may change, add or remove features. We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, the law or how we run the business. When a change matters to you, we email you or tell you on the site before it applies. If you keep using thott.bot after that, the new terms apply; if you don't accept them, cancel.

Whose is what

World of Warcraft, its names and its game data belong to Blizzard Entertainment. Community data we use belongs to its authors, credited under their licenses. thott.bot's software, organization of the data and presentation belong to us. Using thott.bot gives you no rights to any of these beyond using the service.

No warranty

thott.bot is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. This doesn't affect rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be excluded.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claims about thott.bot is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Disputes

Before either of us starts a formal claim, the other must be given written notice of it (ours to you by email, yours to us at support@thott.bot) and 60 days to resolve it.

If you live in the United States

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming and the United States.
  • Any dispute is resolved by binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules, not in court, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court.
  • You and we give up the right to a jury trial and to bring or join a class action. If 25 or more similar claims are brought by the same lawyers or in coordination, they are handled under the AAA's mass arbitration procedures.
  • If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court, not arbitration.

If you live anywhere else

These terms are governed by Wyoming law, but that doesn't take away protections the law where you live gives you, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. EU, EEA and UK consumers aren't bound by the arbitration terms above.

Everything else

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about thott.bot. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over thott.bot; you may not transfer them without our agreement.
